Bio

Cindy Walton graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in English and went on to earn a master’s in English as well. Walton is currently Chair of the English Department, Writing Coordinator, and the faculty advisor for the college’s literary magazine, The Heron. She began at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Bay as an adjunct faculty member and was awarded the Most Outstanding Adjunct award before becoming a fulltime professor in 2013. In 2019, she received the Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
